StaffEng Podcast
Hi folks! A few folks have asked me about doing a StaffEng podcast, and while I’m more comfortable writing than editing podcasts, a couple of folks *did* decide to pursue a StaffEng podcast and I’m super excited for their project launching. David Noël-Romas and Alex Kissinger are your hosts, and their first episode is a discussion with Sarah Dayan about her work as a Staff Engineer at Algolia.
Do give it a listen if you enjoy podcasts (if you enjoy audiobooks, the StaffEng audiobook is coming in next couple of weeks as well!), and I’ll end with a few words from David and Alex about their project. - Will
While reading through the stories on StaffEng you notice the common themes, but also the diversity of approaches. That’s not surprising. We see folks adapt and approach new problems every day. Why would Staff-plus engineers be any different? Just as we all find creative approaches to new problems, we all learn in different ways. Wouldn’t it be great if we could share StaffEng stories in a number of ways so that we can grow this loose-knit community?
This led a few of us to create a podcast. A new medium with new stories from the StaffEng community. We hope this podcast opens up stories to a new audience and provides more stories to those already invested in this community.
